Aurora

Aurora is a Recreation and Education Centre for youth clubs, youth organisations and adult groups located in the peaceful rural setting of the Wicklow Hills. The centre is 2km from Glencree village and 17km from Dublin city. It is set in forty acres of forestry and farmland and provides excellent access to the Wicklow Mountains. There are two buildings within Aurora - The Grove House and the Aurora House.

The Grove House consists of a traditional wicklow cottage with beautiful views across Glencree Valley and a large, purpose-built study/recreation hall. There is accommodation for twentyfour people at the grove which has full catering facilities.

Aurora House is a fine two storey house near the Glencree River. It has three bedrooms with accommodation for fourteen persons. It has a large dining room and a fully equipped large kitchen. Aurora House is ideal for mature groups, retreat groups and families.

The Surrounding Area

Aurora has beautiful natural surroundings with forests, mountain trails, river and lake locations and play areas.
